No more reasons NOT to keep working out in your 70s!
We can all agree that exercise is important to maintain optimal physical and mental health and even to help prevent diseases or casual injuries but can people over 70 keep working out? The answer is simple, OF COURSE! and this is what you should do!
High-intensity gym training
High-intensity exercises are normally associated with short periods of intense exercises, followed by short periods of rest. According to new research from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology of Norway (NTNU), this kind of workout has proven to be the most recommended for people over 70, showing very beneficial results that include weight loss, lower blood pressure, better endurance and an improvement in heart and lung capacity (among others).
